What if my child is sick? A child's illness is usually unpredictable. In order to be fair to everyone, please cancel on the web site before 8am on the day of delivery and we will give you a credit to be used toward your next order. Cancellations after 8am will not be credited but your order will be delivered to the school. Please do not call the school. We understand that family life can change suddenly. If there are extenuating circumstances, please give us a call at (801) 828-2397 and we'll see what we can do to help with any outstanding orders.

What if the school closes due to any unexpected event (snow days, electrical blackout, tornado, acts of God, etc)? If the school is open, lunches will be delivered. If the school is closed, we will give you a credit to be used toward your next order.

What about holidays? Lunches are not available on school closure days such as UEA, Christmas and Spring breaks. Parents are responsible to know of any closure dates specific to your school.

What if the server is down? If the server is down and you cannot access our website, please check back later. It's likely due to routine maintenance and any outages will be brief.

Does the school benefit when I order lunches? Each school is different. At some schools Lunchboxers charges more money and gives a percentage back to the school in the form of a rebate check. The school uses this for fundraising, for charitable giving and other purposes agreed upon by school administration. In addition, Lunchboxers occasionally offers parents the opportunity to makes donations which are then used to benefit families throughout Utah. We invite you to participate when these opportunities come up.

Is the school involved with distribution? Each school is different. If you are interested in working lunches where your child attends, please contact us regarding availability.

Is there a minimum order requirement? We have no minimum requirement for an order. You may order as little or as much as you like and as frequently as you choose. We're a perfect option for a Friday treat or to help grandparents or other babysitters when parents are away.

How far in advance do I have to order? Menus are generally posted one week before the new month begins. You can order a month at a time or even cancel/place an order up to 8 am the day of delivery. Please be aware that waiting until the morning of delivery may incur last minute fees.

Do you have menus for children with allergies? The only products containing peanut traces include sandwiches made with peanut butter (PB&J and PB&H). Before any food is prepared all production surfaces are sanitized. For information regarding other allergies/intolerances (gluten, etc) please contact us.

How big are the portions? Lunchboxers offers two meal sizes: Regular (K-5) and Large (6-12). If your student attends a Private School or a Charter School not on the NSLP (National School Lunch Program) you will most likely have the option between regular and large size meals. Portions are all based upon the USDA dietary standards and pass through an extensive approval process.

What is Lunchboxers™ policy on credits issued? Credits are not refundable but are transferable. All year end balances will roll over to the next school year. Credits are issued on a case by case basis. For more information refer to the previous sections.
